Starfall Forge

Catch the moving comet inside the golden strike window to forge a celestial blade. Each precise strike builds the blade; missed timing raises the heat and breaks the streak.

About this version

This portfolio Lab embeds a source-derived interactive forge. The recording is a fallback for browsers without WebGPU. The full 30-second game is linked below. The anvil model and floor texture come from Bruno Simon’s WebGPU & TSL Anvil lesson and belong to their respective rights holders.

Inside the build

01

The loop

Press Space or tap as the comet enters the golden strike window. Precise hits form the blade; rushed hits overheat it. The target narrows as the run progresses, with a score, personal best and a win-or-lose ending after 30 seconds.

02

Rendering as feedback

TSL emissive heat shows the blade’s state. GPU compute sparks, impact light, bloom, camera shake and a shockwave give each strike weight. A celestial sigil reveals itself as the blade takes shape.

Learning source

A non-commercial experiment directed after Bruno Simon’s WebGPU & TSL Anvil lesson in Three.js Journey. The course model and floor texture remain the property of their rights holders; the timing, heat, score and progression systems form an original game loop through AI-assisted development.
